Basil Farraj is a PhD Candidate in Anthropology and Sociology at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, and a Research Fellow in Transnationalizing the Study of the United States Research Cluster, Orfalea Center, University of California Santa Barbara. Basil is a Visiting Scholar at Muwatin Institute for Democracy and Human Rights, Birzeit University, Palestine.
