Rita Margarita Jiménez Sánchez, Ph.D. is a researcher, educator, and consultant specializing in policy research and development with a focus on gender, interculturality, and human rights. Originally from Mexico and currently based in Santa Barbara, California, she holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences with a specialization in Rural Studies from El Colegio de Michoacán. Her work examines the intersections of indigeneity, justice, and violence in rural and institutional contexts of Mexico, bridging critical social research and applied policy design.
